Bhaktapur and Changu Narayan Day Tour combine two different spectacular UNESCO world heritage sites. Both of the monuments are located in Bhaktapur district, traditionally known as Bhad Gaon. It is a renowned city for preserving the ancient arts and architecture, monumental crafts, folk culture and festivals.
Tour to Bhaktapur and Changu Narayan begins after the breakfast around 8-9 am. You drive directly to the Changu Narayan temple for 45 minutes, located at the top of the hill, known as Telkot. It is a historical existence at the ridge of the valley was built in the 3rd century. It is a grand example of the perfect artworks in Nepali architectures. The pagoda style temple is dedicated to Lord Visnu. The museum and sculptures are outstanding that brings you back to the historical frame. You can also witness the snowy peaks at the north. After a superb exploration, you drive to the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is an ancient Newari town, loaded with mystical prosperity. Various temples, stone and wooden art works, worship of different Gods and Goddess are awesome. Another most stunning aspect is the celebration of various festivals. Visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you can explore the 55 windowed palace, five stories temple, Pond, Golden Gate and museum built in the 15th century.
