Dhaulagiri trek is a strenuous excursion over the high passes in the western region of Nepal. It lies next to the Annapurna region. Only few adventure lovers dare to do this trek. This trek includes two adventurous high passes- the French Pass (5360m) and Dhampus Pass (5234m). During the trek, you can explore several airborne white peaks including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna with other dozens of peaks.
Beginning from Beni, the trek goes through different hidden valleys and glacial landscape. At the starting, the rhododendron forest welcomes you with the breathtaking blooming. As the trek goes to the alpine region, the hidden and extremely isolate valleys appear. For a long long time, you will not find the human settlements. Perfect physical strength and acclimatization are necessary to deal the snowy range. If you compare the trip, it is not less technical than the peak climbing. Crossing the high passes, the trip finally reach the Annapurna circuit trail in Yak Kharka and continue the trek to Jomsom.

Day 01:Kathmandu arrival (1300m).
Day 02:Kathmandu sightseeing.
Day 03:Drive to Beni (850m). 7-8 hrs
Day 04:Trek to Babia Chaur (950m). 6-7 hrs
Day 05:Trek to Dharapani (1400m). 5-6 hrs
Day 06:Trek to Muri (1850m). 6-7 hrs
Day 07:Trek to Boghara (2100m). 6-7 hrs
Day 08:Trek to Dovan (2520m). 5-6 hrs
Day 09:Trek to Choribun Khola (3115m). 5-6 hrs
Day 10:Trek to Italian Camp (3660m). 7-8 hrs walk
Day 11:Acclimatization day.
Day 12:Trek to Glacier Camp (4210m). 6-7 hrs walk
Day 13:Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4745m). 5-6 hrs walk
Day 14:Cross the French Pass (5360m) and trek to the hidden valley (5200m). 7-8 hrs walk
Day 15:Cross the Dhampus Pass (5234m) and trek to Yak Kharka (3680m). 7-8 hrs walk
Day 16:Trek to Jomsom (2710m). 5-6 hrs walk
Day 17:Fly (35min) to Pokhara. (800m)
Day 18:Rest day in Pokhara.
Day 19:Drive to Kathmandu (1300m). 6-7 hrs
Day 20:Departure.
