Langtang Trekking

Langtang region is located closer to the Kathmandu valley. Trekking in Langtang region goes through the ethnic Tamang communities. This trekking region is dominated by the Langtang National Park. It is a home of various flora and fauna, including red panda and snow leopard. In spring, the whole forest becomes colourful as the rhododendron blooms in this season. Langtang valley trek, Langtang gosaikunda trek and Helambu trek are the popular treks in the Langtang region. Gosaikunda Lake is also a pilgrimage destination of Hindus and Buddhists.
